Today I did the other part of the learning that our teacher Ms Cabral gave us to learn about our favourite animal. I have two favourite animals so I did two.

REFLECTION: I think I did well and next time I will add more. I used the same sites as I did last time so you can check it out there.

So cool that we can read,

So cool that we learn,

It's like a big bead,

Beetle sting-ray

 They can live in water or long grass
   They can grow to 142 cm long and 23 cm wide
       They eat worms and dirt
          To get around they swim and fly!

                                     This is the Octo-beetle.
                                      She lives in Freezing water.
                                        She is 45cm long 23cm wide.
                                           She eats algae and waterweed  
                                              She swims and crawls to try bite you!!!

Maya Angelou was such an inspiration that my teacher choose her for us to learn about, she is an inspiration for me because she never gave up on her dreams!!

The aim of the movement which peaked in the 1960s was to ensure that the rights of all people are equal and are protected by the law. Civil rights include a number of things, for example, the right to free speech, assembly, a fair trial. You can read more about this and the amazing people that helped to make these changes below.
